Meet the Founder
Stephanie Sieverding is the founder of Sieverding Bindery, established in 2024 in Newfields, New Hampshire. Her passion lies in the art of bookbinding—creating and repairing books and boxes of all kinds with care, skill, and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.
Originally from Germany, Stephanie began her career as an electrician and later earned a Fachhochschul degree in social work. After years of raising five children and traveling extensively, she discovered her true calling in bookbinding. What began with a few workshops turned into a full pursuit: she graduated from the renowned two-year Bookbinding Program at the North Bennet Street School, Boston MA in 2025.
Today, Stephanie brings together precision, creativity, and a love for book structures in every project she takes on—restoring old treasures and creating new ones meant to last generations.
